If you aren’t familiar, it’s a French liqueur derived from aniseed. I’m a big fan of Anise. It’s what I call a “witchy sexy spice”. Anise has always been a popular ingredient for food, medicine, and magick!
As for anisette it’s the oldest of several anise-flavored liqueurs. It’s a digestif that is popular in such countries as France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal.
