I’ve always loved it when The Food Network does live shows. There’s nothing better than watching a chef cook as they answer questions from the viewers.
In case you didn’t know there’s a Food Network Kitchen app that’s available for download so that you can catch live and on demand cooking classes. That’s right, you can up your cooking game nice and easy. There’s about 25+ chances to cook live during the week.
I was so excited to find out that Francis Ford Coppola Winery is teaming up with the Food Network Kitchen for the holidays for three live cooking classes. The Family Coppola Winery, based in Sonoma, encompasses all the things that Mr. Coppola loves: cinema, wine, spirits, food, resorts, and adventure. Long story short, Coppola has created a wine wonderland for people to celebrate life. Sounds like my kind of place!
You can get a taste of it all, by tuning into the classes. Chef Amanda Freitag will be leading the way. She’s created three recipes to pair with three selected Francis Ford Coppola Wine.
Recipes and wine pairings:
Diamond Collection Chardonnay, Crab Cake Bites with Spiced Mayo
Sofia Rosé, Seckel Pear with Honey, Whipped Goat Cheese and Crispy Prosciutto
2016 Pitagora Red Blend, Chorizo in a Blanket with Herbed Agave Sauce
The three live episodes will stream on the app on December 2nd at 9am, 12pm, and 3pm from the Food Network Kitchen in NYC. If you can’t watch live, you can always catch the classes on demand.
The wines are available on from the winery, there’s Drizly, and don’t forget to check your local store. Coppola Wines tend to be available at well stocked in shops. Enjoy the pairings. Cheers!
