Courtyard by Marriott had a killer launch party in downtown Manhattan to give a preview of their new Bistro Bar experience. It was a night filled with good eats, craft cocktails, and fresh herbs. I literally thought that I would be in and out of the event, but it was so fabulous, I couldn’t bare to leave.
Guests at the event very given a preview of the current Bistro Bar menu. The evening featured three classic cocktails: Black Cherry Old Fashioned, Southside, and Winter Spiced Margarita. Some of the food selections were an array of flatbreads, the Bistro Burger with gruyere cheese, and meatballs in pomodoro sauce. Everything was quite impressive. It was hotel food on a whole other level. Plus, I have to say, the wine list is something to rave about. Normally wine gets the shaft due to the focus being on craft cocktails, but the Bistro has wonderful wine selections.
The bars will feature a seasonal American menu with local food and a handcrafted cocktail list that also includes curated wines. It’s top of the line spirits and wine, a little something that should make everyone happy. The menu changes each season to bring the freshest ingredients possible.
Bistro Bar is available in 900 of the hotels in the United States. The Courtyard is a mid-priced hotel designed for business travelers, but also accommodates families. Its rooms have desks, couches, free Internet access, spacious rooms, and Starbucks coffee.
Even if aren’t staying at the hotel you can still stop by the Bistro Bar to have a gastronomic experience. If you are on the move, get your grub to go.
