Van Gogh Vodka & Love Are The Perfect Pairing

One of the best things about Valentine’s Day is that love is in the air. As I mentioned in my latest podcast, women love them some vodka. There is something rather magickal about the spirit and there’s so many wonderful cocktails that can be made with it.

I’ve mentioned what a big fan I am of Van Gogh Vodka. It’s smooth premium vodka made in Holland. They have plenty of expressions to choose from, there’s bound to be one or two that is perfect for you.

These three cocktails are perfect for adding a touch of passion to the palate courtesy of Van Gogh Vodka. If you happen to be single, there’s nothing wrong with having a drink to celebrate yourself. As we all know, it’s better to be single then with the wrong person. Sip to love whether it’s to love with your boo or self-love. PS- These cocktails are great anytime you are in an amorous frame of mind. Cheers!

You may remember that the apple was the forbidden fruit. That’s why sipping the Van Gogh Wild Appel Vodka is always a titilatting treat. This flavor from Van Gogh is one of my favorites.

4 oz. Van Gogh Wild Appel Vodka

2 oz. cranberry juice

2 oz. pineapple juice

2 oz. apple juice

Add all ingredients to a mixing glass and stir well with ice.  Strain over fresh ice into two tall glasses.  Garnish with an apple slice.

As we all know you can’t go wrong with chocolate as an aphrodisiac. Since this cocktail screams decadence, serve with a dessert or while relaxing in bed.  Perhaps both?! However, the vodka is not overly sweet, so it would pair wonderfully with a mole sauce.

4 oz. Van Gogh Raspberry

2 oz. Van Gogh Dutch Chocolate

1 1/2 oz. Crème de cassis

Shake ingredients very well with ice. Strain into two chilled martini glasses. Garnish with raspberries on a pick.

Did you know that blueberries an aphrodisiacs? They are are good for stimulation to erogenous areas. Need I say more? This is a delightful vodka that is well-balanced in flavor.

2 oz. Van Gogh Açai-Blueberry Vodka

1/2 oz. cranberry juice

1/2 oz. fresh lime juice

1/2 oz. honey syrup (equal parts honey and warm water, dissolved)

5 blueberries

Muddle the blueberries in the lime juice and honey syrup. Add remaining ingredients with ice and shake well. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with two raspberries and a lime wheel on a pick.
