I had the pleasure of being invited on a press trip to Cincinnati, Ohio this year. I loved the city and had the best time. I’ve been raving about Cincy ever since. It was a very warm and welcoming trip. Long story short, don’t sleep on the city. It has a lot of offer. If they don’t have what you are looking for, they are happy to help you create it.
When I least expected it, a gift from Cincinnati Source showed up. A pumpkin spice bread from Busken Bakery to help me celebrate the holidays. They have been serving up treats in Cincy since 1928. What I love about this bakery is that they give their baking schedule on their website so you know when to go get your fresh breads and other goodies. Pumpkin bread is one of my favorites so I will happily gobble is up. The bread is all moist, just like I like it. I’m going to warm it up and put some butter on it. Yum.
Thanks to Cincinnati Source for sending me some love from their city. I definitely need to go back. There’s so much other food and craft beer to try. And did I mention that Louisville is right across the bridge. Bourbon is so close and it’s easy to do both cities to give the palate something to be thrilled about.
Put Cincinnati on your travel list, you will be so pleasantly surprised about what the city has to offer. You may not even leave.
