Apothic Inferno: A Sexy Red Wine Blend With A Touch Of Whiskey
An Apothic red blend had a lover affair with a whiskey barrel which produced their latest wine. I had the pleasure of attending the Apothic Inferno soiree in New York City at the Jane Hotel.
I was taken through a sensory journey to experience the magick of Inferno. Good looking men were behind the bar to guide me through a sniffing stations of notes that are in the wine while someone was waiting to let me select a bottle which contained my fortune.
Apothic is known for its sensuous and alluring wines. Their inspiration comes from “Apotheca”, a mysterious place where wine was blended and stored in Europe during the 13th Century. Their winemaker, Debbie Juergenson, strives to tell a story with each blend.
Apothic Inferno is an impressive and dramatic wine. There is a hint of a smoke in it that comes from being aged in whiskey barrels for 60 days. The aromas in the wine are red fruits, berries, maple, and spice. It’s as good as it sounds.
It’s a wine with depth so pair it with meats, comfort food from your crockpot, dark chocolate, or with a round of good conversation. It’s also a rather sexy wine, it’s the perfect selection for romance and seduction.
Sip this one during Autumn and those cold winter months. A good go to for holiday meals during Thanksgiving, it will pair nicely with fall flavored foods.
You may want to stock up on this wine, because it’s a limited edition. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. Stop by the Apothic website, it’s for your own wine filled sensory journey.
