Celebrate National Rum Day With Rum Jumbie

Show some love to rum by celebrating National Rum Day. Each year on August 16th, people raise a glass with something yummy and rummy.  It’s predicted that rum is headed for a big comeback when it comes to popularity. Rum is slowly but surely becoming a staple in craft cocktails.

To get your taste buds going on Rum Day, get some  Rum Jumbie  in your glass. The liqueur is made from a  secret and sought after recipe.  By drinking this rum you may feel the magick of the within “rum jumbies” (spirits)  and dance to the beat of congas or your favorite tune.

Summer Love

2 oz. Jumbie Coconut Splash

1 ½ oz Elderflower Liqueur

Splash of Lime Juice

3 Strawberries

Muddle the 2 strawberries with a splash of water. In a shaker with ice, add liquids. Shake well,strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with remaining strawberry.

 

Jumbie Love

1  ½ oz. Pineapple Splash

1 oz White Rum

6 cubes watermelon, seeded

Squeeze of lime juice

Add ingredients to a blender with ice and blend until smooth.
