A lovely salmon colored Cava is made with 100% Pinot Noir grapes. On the nose are notes of fresh red apple and strawberries to hints of honey white flowers and toasted almond. It’s an intense and bold bubbly.
From the beginning, the winery’s philosophy has been to use only traditional, high-quality winemaking practices. Its Cava is made in the método tradicional, as is Champagne, meaning it undergoes a secondary, in-bottle fermentation prompted by the addition of yeast and sugar. The wines are often aged in bottle for 18 months or more.
This is the kinda rosé that goes great with a lot of different food. Think burgers, brunches, truffles, and fried chicken. Oh my!
The wine has some nice bubbles so if you are a sparkling wine fan it will please your palate. It’s delightful in place of champagne when you are on a budget. Cheers!
Witch On Wine Rating: 18.3 out of 20. A very charming Cava that’s worth the sip.
