Four Roses Mint Juleps Recipe For Derby Day

It’s almost Derby Day which means time to whip up a batch or two of mint juleps. The bourbon based cocktail has been the official drink of the Kentucky Derby for over 70 years.

About 120,000 mint juleps are served at Churchill Downs where the derby is held. There is even a premium custom made mint julep that goes for $1,000. That must be one potent drink!

If you want to get into the spirit of the derby all it takes is about four ingredients to get your julep on. You just may discover that you want to add this drink into your repertoire on an ongoing basis. Enjoy!
